House Rules
Are there limitations and/or flexibility with check-in / check-out times?
Check-out is by 11am. Arriving slightly earlier, or want that extra hour to sleep? Should be fine, but please check with us first. If you'd like a longer day and we have an open schedule it shouldn't be a problem!
Are there any cleaning expectations?
Whilst we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put any used linen and towels in the hampers. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests.
What are your expectations around spills or damage to property?
We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too.
Do you have any behavioral expectations?
What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules. We also have a no smoking policy (although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back).
Electricity: Lights / AC / Heating
To keep our costs down (and pass those savings on to our guests) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and set temp to 68 while leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you too.
Pets: Do you allow pets in your place?
We do allow some pets, depending on behavior of the animal.
No chewing, urinating, or pets on furniture is allowed. We expect pets will be as respectful of the place as humans, but we will hold the owners responsible for any damage. so please let us know what kind of animal/s. send a little Animal Resumé as well :)
Horses are amazing animals, the ones here are friendly and love to be pet, and yes, I'm sure they would love some of that cupcake... but please don't feed them! Eating from a human's hand creates bad habits for horses and they become beggars, which isn't fun for anyone.
Is there a pet fee?
Yes. $35 per pet + $10 a day as an extra guest
Please Note: All other damage, Urine, feces, claw marks, will be charged on a separate basis. Starting with the complete withholding of deposit and additional charges from there.)
Also, for liability reasons we ask that you stay out of the field and stalls.
Thanks :)
Congratulations!
